Volunteers In Police Service
Littleton residents who are planning to be away from home for more than three days can request that their residence be watched by members of the Littleton Police Department’s Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) Program.
The VIPS members will check the home’s exterior, and look for any signs of attempted break-ins or other mischief. If a problem is suspected, a police officer will be dispatched to the scene. Each visit will be documented and a final report will be given to the homeowner after their return.
